Had a rough week or a rough work-out? This powerhouse herb is a tonic for those who have faced a spell of undue demands - whether physical or mental. Siberian ginseng has a growing reputation for helping the whole body deal with stressful exposures such as heat, cold, physical exhaustion, viruses, bacteria, chemicals, extreme working conditions, noise and pollution. That is quite the tonic! In Asia it’s called the “king of herbs”. Treat yourself royally with this commanding herb.
Ingredients: Each ml contains 250 mg of wildcrafted Siberian ginseng root (Eleutherococcus senticosus). It is a 1:4 root extract in a non-medicinal base of 40% gluten-free grain alcohol and purified water.
Recommended Use: Siberian ginseng is used in Herbal Medicine to help improve mental and physical performance after periods of exertion.
Directions: For best results, take Siberian ginseng on an empty stomach, which means about 15 minutes before a meal or snack, or at least 1 hour after.
Adults 18 and over: take 3 ml, 3 times per day. To dispense, fill the dropper half way, which gives you 1 ml. Repeat to get 2 ml, and the third time for 3ml.
For best absorption, squirt the tincture under your tongue and hold it there for a few seconds, then swallow. If you want to remove the alcohol, add the dosage to a half cup of boiled water. The alcohol will evaporate off. Let it cool, and add honey or a splash of juice to make a yummy, stress-relieving drink!
Caution: Do not use Siberian ginseng if you have high blood pressure. Please talk to your healthcare practitioner before using Siberian ginseng beyond 1 month, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have any type of acute infection. And always talk to your healthcare practitioner if your symptoms hang on or get worse!
