Menopause combines black cohosh, chaste tree, milk thistle and St. John’s wort, a classic set of herbs known to naturally balance hormones and relieve hot flashes, night sweats and nervous tension. Black cohosh has long been used to reduce hot flashes and night sweats, while chaste tree works as a hormonal tonic to help balance the female hormones. Milk thistle supports the liver in detoxifying excess hormones, and St. John’s wort helps to relieve anxiety.
Each ml contains: 200 mg milk thistle seeds* (1:1 seed extract) ; 100 mg chaste tree fruit* (1:4 fruit extract) ; 50 mg St. John's wort herb tops* (1:4 herb top extract) ; 40 mg black cohosh root* (1:5 root extract); (*organically grown).
Used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve symptoms associated with menopause. and to ease nervous tension (calmative).
For best results, take Menopause combo tincture on an empty stomach, which means about 15 minutes before a meal or snack, or at least 1 hour after.
Adult women: take 2 ml, 3 times per day on an empty stomach. Use for a minimum of 3 months to see beneficial effects. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 4 months.
For best absorption, squirt the tincture under your tongue and hold it there for a few seconds, then swallow. If you want to remove the alcohol, add the dosage to a half cup of freshly boiled water. The alcohol will evaporate off. Let it cool, and add honey or a splash of juice to make a yummy, hormone-balancing, hotflash quenching drink!

Some people may experience mild gastrointestinal disturbances, nausea, restlessness and/or headaches. Do not use if you are pregnant or if you are taking anti-cancer medications, blood thinners, antidepressant medications (e.g. selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI)), anti-HIV agents, cardiovascular medications, immunosuppressants, and/or contraceptive medications.
