These activated sprouted superfoods deliver more nutrients per gram when compared to raw, non-sprouted Brown Rice, Lentils and Flax seeds. Use Organic Traditions Sprouted Risotto Mix as a substitute for any white rice, brown rice, pasta or grain dish. Bring 1½ cups of water to boil. Add 1 cup of Sprouted Risotto mix. Cover and lower heat. Simmer for 35-45 minutes or longer depending on how ‘al dente’ you prefer your Sprouted Rice. Let it stand for another 10 minutes and fluff. Add a pinch of salt, 1 tablespoon of Organic Traditions Raw Coconut Oil or your favorite Organic Olive oil. You can add 1-2 tablespoons of Organic Traditions Sprouted Chia or Flax powder for more fiber.
As a dinner option, add fresh herbs, vegetables or tempeh. As a breakfast option, it makes a delicious replacement to conventional oatmeal or other cereals. Simply add 1-2 tsp. of Organic Traditions Maqui powder, Organic Traditions Golden berries, 1 teaspoon of Organic Traditions Vanilla powder, 1 teaspoon of Organic Traditions Yacon Syrup or Coconut Palm Sugar and any other Organic Traditions superfoods of your choice.
