If you rarely visit la la land, California poppy may be just the ticket. This state flower of California is known not only for its sedative action, but for its ability to relieve nerve pain that can cause insomnia.
Our wise elders used it for treating toothaches and a variety of other ailments, including sleep troubles, nervousness and general aches and pains. While it doesn’t contain any actual opium, you may just feel euphoric after the good night’s sleep you’ll have!
Ingredients:
Each ml contains 250 mg of organically grown California poppy herb tops (Eschscholzia californica). It is a 1:4 herb top extract in a non-medicinal base of 40% gluten-free grain alcohol and purified water.
Recommended Use:
California poppy is used traditionally in Herbal Medicine as a sleep aid and pain reliever.
Directions:
Adults: take 4 ml at bedtime on an empty stomach.
For best absorption, squirt the tincture under your tongue and hold it there for a few seconds, then swallow. If you want to remove the alcohol, add the dosage to a half cup of freshly boiled water. The alcohol will evaporate off. Let it cool, and add honey or a splash of juice to make a yummy, soothing and sleep inducing drink!
