Cruciferous vegetables (cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, etc.) are uniquely abundant in a sulfur-containing compound called Indole-3-Carbinol (I3C). In the acidic stomach environment, I3C is converted into derivative compounds shown to neutralize free radicals, promote proper detoxification, and support healthy cell cycle regulation. DIM (diindolemethane) is a well-known I3C derivative. In addition, studies have shown that I3C supplementation can help maintain a healthy endocrine response in both men and women. Although I3C is normally very unstable, NOW® Indole-3-Carbinol is packaged and laboratory tested to ensure potency during its shelf life.

Each capsule contains:

Indole-3-Carbinol  200 mg
Flax Seed Lignan Extract 200 mg
   (Linum usitatissimum) (Seed Coat) (min. 2.5% Lignans)
Lignans (from Flax Seed Lignan Extract) 5 mg

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Veg Capsule (hypromellose, water), Rice Bran, Silica, Magnesium Stearate (vegetable source).

Adult Dosage: Take 1 capsule, 1-2 times daily with meals.
